About Allie Cakes

Policy

Hi, I’m Allison!
I’m a one-woman show running Allie Cakes, and every cake is made with love, creativity, and care. I’m a trained Pastry Chef and proud graduate of Johnson & Wales University, with degrees in Baking & Pastry Arts and Food Service Management.

By day, I work as the Community Manager for South End with Charlotte Center City Partners—connecting with local businesses, hosting events, and supporting the neighborhood I love. Outside of work, I spend my time traveling, meeting new people, and enjoying life with my friends, family, and my sweet pup, Ohana.

Baking has always been a way for me to express love for my community. What started as a hobby has now grown into a part-time business. Because this is not my full-time job, I am limited in the number of orders I can take—but each order I accept gets my full attention and creativity.

Venue Policy

I do not take catering or cake orders for plantations turned into event venues. These homes of slavery deserve to be acknowledged for the history they hold, not rebranded as celebratory spaces. This is a personal and professional value that I hold deeply.

Response Time

This business is part-time, and my schedule stays busy. I do my best to reply as quickly as possible, but please allow 3–5 business days for a response. Your patience means the world to me, and I promise I’ll give your order the care it deserves.

Design and Inspiration

I love when clients share inspiration photos or ideas for their cakes. While I’ll always work to capture the feel of your vision, cakes will not be exact replicas. Factors like seasonal ingredients, available materials, and cake structure influence the final product. Each cake is unique and original—and that’s something I love to celebrate.
